ANZAC DAY THIS SUNDAY – Dr Sketchy’s Melbourne session cancelled

Dear Melbourne Art Monkeys,

As this Sunday 25th April is Anzac Day we, along with The Order of Melbourne have decided to
cancel our April Dr Sketchy’s session.

Our next session will be Sunday May 30th with burlesque bombshell, Becky Lou!

‘With a repertoire of facial expressions that would make a silent screen star proud, Becky Lou is all set to bump, grind and ham it up for your pleasure.

Infusing her classic striptease routines with lashings of physical comedy, this pretty goofball cut her teeth performing with Perth’s premiere troupe, Sugar Blue Burlesque, delighting fans by bathing in tea cups, beating other ladies with baguettes.

Performing as a tipsy housewife or a nymph trapped inside a giant bunch of grapes, Miss Becky Lou is newly settled in Melbourne and beginning to beguile this whole new city with her silly, sexy antics.’

Mel will soon be bringing back news from the second International SketchyCon which is taking place on May 1st and 2nd at Dr Sketchy’s Anti-Art School Headquarters in New York City!  For more info on the SketchyCon visit www.drsketchy.com/sketchycon

Thank you to everyone that has helped made Dr Sketchy’s Anti-Art School Melbourne a success; this has only helped drive the Dr Sketchy’s worldwide community further so we can keep growing and sharing fun as a part of art!

Dr. Sketchy’s has a tumblr group blog at http://drsketchy.tumblr.com where everyone can contribute artwork made during sessions. It’s been a great way to get to know all the talented artists in our community so get to sharing!
