Farewell 2013 and Welcome 2014!

2013 saw a formidable array of performers hit the Dr Sketchy stage.  In keeping with our ethos  of providing an eclectic and exiting display of the country’s most unique and inspiring performers we greeted Tim Rogers of You am I, 3 sessions in The Famous Spiegeltent, Opera star Ali McGreogor, Princess of Burlesque The Strawberry Siren, Oktoberfest celebrations with Poppy Cherry, Sideshow heavyweight Lilikoi Kaos, and the world’s first ever glorious pregnant Dr Sketchy model (Bijou LaLa) amongst a bevy of beautiful and dynamic performers like Frankie Valentine, Evie Red, Vesper White, Lux St Sin.  Please follow the links for the truly wonderful photo galleries from our photographers.  You will feel like you were actually there!

In 2013 our founder, Molly Crabapple closed the doors of Dr Sketchy New York to pursue her own illustration career.  This leaves our very own Melbourne branch and the longest running Dr Sketchy branch!  7 years and growing our gorgeous family of art monkeys all the time.

And so the barr has been set and the challenge accepted.  Gird your lions for a stellar 2014 where we maintain our promise to bring you both variety and excellence in our range of performers.

Dr Sketchy’s Melbourne is proud to attract the most accomplished performers in their field and bring them to our lovely,  open community where we celebrate the fun often forgotten about as adults in creativity and drawing.  The aid of killer tunes by Dj Knave Knixx and glorious cocktails supplied by The Toff in Town babes always helps release our inner muse.

Announcement for our 2014 launch on Sunday 12 January about to drop people!!!!  Get ready!!
