Chase Paradise at Dr Sketchys Melbourne!

Bring your sketchpads and a wad of pineapples cause we got CHASE PARADISE ON STAGE!

That’s right, Thursday, May 31st at 24 Moons Bar “smokin’ hot, funny and smart, Chase Paradise is the unassuming and unorthodox comedic triple threat that sold out an entire season of her first solo show at Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Anyone who can navigate topics such as how to benefit financially from unsolicited dick pics, or the importance of Britney Spears’ signature perfume, absolutely deserves much success in their endeavours, stripping related or not.” – Steph Marks

Chase Paradise did what all girls with dreams of stardom do after graduating $90,000 in debt from film school in post-recession Australia, besides developing an ice habit, or working in real estate: she became a stripper. And not the good kind. Think less Dita, more Demi. Nomi Malone if she never got the job at Goddess. Amber Rose before Kanye. Channing Tatum as Magic Mike. Chase Paradise has been touring her seal-out stand-up show HO LIFE OR NO LIFE around the country.

With tales from the lap room, fart jokes and original songs like F#ck You, Pay Me, she’ll have you laughing, crying, and most importantly, never looking at exotic dancers the same way again.

“a room full of friendly people, an appreciation for art, beautiful models, unreal costumes and a truck load of fun times.” Harxest Mag

The world’s original alternative drawing movement.

Art brings people together, regardless of age, colour, gender or sexual orientation.

Whether you’re an artstar or a scribbling newbie, Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School is the perfect place to get your fill of drawing fun.
Art brings people together, regardless of age, colour, gender or sexual orientation.

Melbourne’s underground performance scene is an amazing source of inspiration for artists and is the well from which we draw our models, inviting them to our community where we celebrate the fun often left behind as adults with creativity and drawing.

Thursday, April 5th lets get twisted with RUBY SLIPPERS!

A high-femme kaleidoscopic cyclone of extroversion and light perversion, Ruby Slippers lives by the motto that you’re either Dorothy, or you’re the twister.

Gracing burlesque and drag stages alike and leaving a trail of glitter in her wake, she’s earned a reputation as one of the best dressed (and undressed) kids in town. In 2017 she toured the country as a national headliner for the Australian Burlesque Festival, and was honoured by her peers, winning the title of “Most Innovative” at the The Busties, the Australian burlesque industry awards.
